The death of Kim has been a great shock to everyone. Kim was born on 19th august 1982 and sadly past away 9th June 2008 at just 25 years old. When you are growing up, you are told as a child 'when you get old you will then die’. It also states in the bible a life is of three scores and ten. In this case this did not happen with Kim! Why? From a young age Kim had a swelling disease known as Hereditary Angioedema, This is known as a rapid swelling of the blood. In Kim’s case this became life threatening. For apart of Kim’s life she lived in Upper Norwood, with her Mother and Father Jen and Martin and two older brothers Mark and Allan. Kim lived on a small cul de sac called Treloar Gardens. At the age of two and a half Kim attending St Margaret’s Playgroup where She met her lifelong friend Alannah , The two of them got up to a lot of mischief; from washing their hair in paint water, blocking sinks with toilet roll and pretending to be at the seaside by sitting half naked in a sand pit . In 1986 Kim attended Rockmount Infant school, Kim became popular with having friends over for tea, and playing with school friends who also lived in that area, here are a few memories of from a few friends who that time period. Hayley Warns remembers going to Kim’s house to play Dolls, Sandra Galdwin remembers Kim in her back garden most days until Kim moved. They used to bicker a lot and argue like girls did at that age. Sandra remembers we used to make up these silly groups and clubs and argue who was going to be in each group, who was the leader etc.
